人気アニメ「クレヨンしんちゃん」の劇場版28作目。「ラブライブ！」「宝石の国」などの話題のアニメを送り出してきた京極尚彦が監督を務め、脚本を「婚前特急」「そこのみにて光輝く」などの実写映画を手がけてきた高田亮が担当する。地上の落書きをエネルギーに浮かぶ王国「ラクガキングダム」は、時代の流れで地上から落書きがめっきり減ったことで崩壊の危機に直面。人間たちに無理やり落書きをさせる「ウキウキカキカキ作戦」を決行し、地上への進撃を開始する。一方、ラクガキキングダムのお姫様は、描いたものが動き出すという王国の秘宝「ミラクルクレヨン」を持ち出し、決死の覚悟で地上に託す。ミラクルクレヨンを手にしたしんのすけは、実体化した落書きたちと力をあわせて平和のために立ち上がるが……。
